Think of it simply at ways to move. Dimensions exist at right angles to each other.

2D flat, can only move in 4 directions
3D cube, adds height
4D tesseract, frames .. think of 3D with changes over time

To keep it simple.

The 4D is what we know as time. What's more, we experience it sequentially yet physics shows it exists simultaneously.

Can you move up/down, left/right, forward/back? 3D is real

Are you stuck at a single point in time? 4D too...

They exist at 90 drg angles, and are invisible to us
