as long as they are still out there people at home will mimic it to some level. The graphics are a huge improvement but you can't even use the
mouse/keyboard with FS2020

Exactly right. Some have 6 figures invested in this stuff.
Dont listen to the knuckleheads CFIs have many thousands of dollars invested in platforms like XPlane. Its not going anywhere. Not any time soon. FAA
certification takes ages, so don't hold your breath.

I personally use XP11 for the bulk of my simulation/training purposes.
FS2020 is still too new, and mostly just used for fun/streaming due to their use of true to life imagery.
