since it's 95% geared to combat not sure why youd exclude it

if you dont care about combat than no don't need ancient magicks.

No matter what terms you put it in the answer is 100% YES!!!!

Its the best magic by far. Unless you do just crafting, then go Lunar. And if you don't ever do combat but are low level, well, the standard spellbook is your only choice sadly.

Its mainly PVP but you do get some additional tele skills however most people use regular spellbook for PVE unless youre 99 magic then your skill cape allows you to switch up to 5 times a day without prayer drain. Also you can build alters at your player owned home at architech lvl 80 to do the same thing.
