The aviation community has suffered a great loss. Early today, aviation legend and first human to break the sound barrier - Chuck Yeager - passed away at the age of 97.

This probably doesn't belong here, but given his contribution to the field and love of general and experimental aviation I felt it was a fitting tribute.
